as every year at our festival, we are going to raffle some great prizes again this year; three cymbal packages and three percussion packages will be given away amongst every attendee who has either bought a 1-day, or 2-day ticket. the prize draw will take place live on stage on sunday june 24th, at 18:15h at the 2012 meinl drum festival.

Brann Dailor Interviews

Recently I had the pleasure of being able to sit down with Meinl Cymbal artist and drummer for the modern prog-metal legends Mastodon, Brann Dailor and hit him up with questions that our friends on Facebook wrote in and asked him. Brann is a great conversationalist, smart, funny and insightful. He's clearly doing what he loves and it really shows.

Normally I would ramble on forever in these blogs, but I think it's best to let Brann do the talking. :-)

THE 2012 MEINL DRUM FESTIVAL

it's a great pleasure to let you know that our festival will be back in germany this year on june 23 and june 24. it's going to be a mayjor two-day drum event here on our premises in gutenstetten.

on the first day we will host a series of masterclasses to a limited amount of 300 attendees only.

and on the second day we will feature the usual drum performances from some of the best drummers in the world. we've worked out an amazing line-up which you can see on meinldrumfestival.com now.

besides that, we've been focusing on the fact that next year we will celebrate our 60th meinl cymbals anniversary. we've made a timeline spanning from 1952 until 2012 showing all our series ever made, special events and other company highlights. very interesting content in my opinion.

and last but not least: features on many of our international top artists, a meinl drum festival report from mexico city and tons of more information are included.
